Mushrrooom curry!

Ingredients...
Mushrooms 1 packet each cut in fours
green chillies 2 cut in small pieces
onions 1 cut in small pieces
ginger 1 tablesppoon
garlic 4 cloves
anise,star 2
cardamom seeds 1 teaspoon
sombu 1 tsp
turmeric powder 1 tsp
garam masala 1 tablespoon
hot curry powder 1 tablespoon
chilli powder 1 tsp
oil 2 tablespoons
mustard seeds 1 tsp
Curry leaves 1 stem
corriander leaves 1 stem

procedure.

In a pan, pour 2 tablespoons of oil
add mustard seeds
Cook till it splatters
then add the onions, green chilli , ginger , garlic
stir until brown
add curry leaves , anise, sombu , cardamom seeds and stir
till brown
add mushrooms cut in quarters. Fry well till the water from the mushrooms
disappear.
then add garam masala, chilli powder, turmeric powder and curry powder. mix w/
all the masalas.
Add some water depending on how much gravy you need. Tastes better w/ little
water may be a cup.
add corriander leaves
and cook w/ lid closed.
wait until gravy is semi-thick.
viola and there is your mushroom curry!

Good for vegetarians who want to eat something vegetarian and yet feel a taste
of meat.
