To Ranjani -- Anjaneya vadamala vadais

Hi Ranjani,
This is the recipe for the milagu vadais(hanuman's offering),courtesy Mallika Badrinath.
You'll need :
* 1 cup urad dal
* 1 tsp. each of jeera & pepper corns
* Required salt & oil for frying.

Soak dal in water for 15 mins. & drain thoroughly. Grind to a coarse paste with as little water as possible. Add seasonings & 3 tbsp. of hot oil & mix well. Make small ba-lls & pat as thin vadais on a wet cloth & make a hole in the centre.Deep fry in oil till half-done only. Once all the dough is used up in this manner, deep fry the half-done vadais once again till brown & crisp.

I've tried this many times & it is yummy. Do try it out & let me know how it came out.
