here's one:
salmon/tilapia fillets--1lb
red chilli powder--1 heaped tsp
turmeric--1/4 tsp
salt--1 heaped tsp
pepper powder--1/2 tsp
lemon juice(optional)
oil--2tbsp
onion-1/2 thinly sliced to small pieces
curry leaves--tear to small pieces
1.wash and clean the fillets.cut into medium square pieces.
2.marinate the fish with chilli powder, turmeric, salt, pepper
and keep overnight in freezer(or at least 2 hrs)
3.preheat the oven to 400F.
4.line a tray with aluminium foil and lay down the pieces.squeeze a little lemon juice on top.bake for 15 min.s
5.take out and brush some oil on top and do for 5 more min.s
6.turn other side and repeat.
7.altogether bake for 25-30 min.s for a crispy finish or less if crispiness not needed.
8.sprinkle onions,curry leaves on top.
This was a trial and error success story. The fish looks and tastes like fried fish, but with very little oil!try it.
