Is there a listing of these? How did they reach the South? Are they faithful reproductions or are there enough variations that distinguish them completely from the original eg. how is Kapi different from Hindustani Kapi? On the whole they sound more melodic compared to pure Carnatic ragas. Is my perception right, and if so why?

  i would like to know about the Ragas associated with the different stages in a girl's life,like her childhood,where she is free without any responsibilities,next her teenage whe she thinks she is mature enough,but she is actually not and she starts rebelling against her parents,next her love and then marriage,then the middle age crisis when her children and husband don't support her properly and then the old age where she is free from bondages.the ragas should be in Carnatic and also mention the instrument best suited for the moods mentioned above.
